We are very pleased with the anti-virus software installed on our computers to help protect us against viruses, malware, and threats to our technology. We have seen the anti-virus in action by protecting us against severe threats that could have compromised our computers. Recently, our entire staff received an email from a trusted source sharing a Dropbox link with us. Once we clicked on the link provided it immediately gave us a warning that the link was potentially dangerous. The anti-virus software worked and protected our computers and information by warning our staff that a virus was in the email.

Rivertrail Technology has been our managed information technology provider for approximately the last 10 years. Rivertrail has served our firm, Larrowe & Company, CPA’s, promptly and professionally over that entire time. As a CPA firm trusted with sensitive client information, system security is foremost in our minds. Rivertrail helps us with a variety of security solutions that are indispensable to us. Other services and attributes provided by Rivertrail I value highly include the following. Proactiveness Rivertrail has been very good to keep us informed, not only of our needs in the moment, but to strategically keep us on track for the longer term. They do this so that we prepare for critical needs before they surface and become an interruption. In doing this they have helped us with “incident avoidance”, if you will. While measuring the cost of a catastrophe that doesn’t occur is difficult, I am confident that our service cost has been worth it several times over. Backup and Software Update Solutions By utilizing those services, we are both protected (by being certain that all relevant updates and patches are timely and properly applied) and efficient (in that we do not have to consume our time to do those things Rivertrail is better suited to do). The backup solution also eliminates any manual steps, which might be easily forgotten by staff, as well as the need for us to solve the offsite backup need. Professional, Friendly, and Available Rivertrail staff have always conducted themselves in a professional and polite manner. They have taken a proprietary interest in our success in evaluating the reasonableness of various alternatives under consideration. Lastly, but perhaps most importantly, Rivertrail has been exceptional with regard to access to their professional team. It’s fine to be capable, but if a user cannot reach their provider promptly, the provider falls short of truly satisfying the user’s needs.
